She had first confirmed her pregnancy in July. In the series, which premiered on March 2023, Daddario plays Rowan Fielding. Fielding is a surgeon who learns that she is the heir of a family of witches. Daddario recently made headlines after she had called out those who criticized her acting skills.

Alexandra Daddario opened up about her experience filming Mayfair Witches during her pregnancy in a recent interview where she also discussed other aspects of her life, such as her acting career. The new season of Mayfair Witches premiered on January 2025, four months after Daddario welcomed her baby with her husband Andrew Form.
“You worry about everything,” Daddario told People. “There were some horror scenes where I was like, ‘I don’t know If I should let myself get worked up emotionally because the baby will feel it in my belly!.'”

Also in her interview with People, the actress opened up about how her acting career got started. She noted how both her parents were lawyers, and that she was a “creative kid” who was “into the arts.” Daddario then mentioned that her mother was surprisingly supportive of her acting career.
Daddario also spoke of how she was unfamiliar with Anne Rice and her work when she landed the lead role in Mayfair Witches. However, her interest in Rice grew after she read the books.
