Days of Our Lives Brandon Beemer leave DOOL when why
Brandon Beemer’s character, Shawn Douglas Brady, grappled with personal difficulties, leading him to enroll in a rehab facility.
October 2023 marked the last appearance of Brady on DOOL. He suffered the guilt of shooting his father, Bo, whom he believed would harm his mother, Hope Brady. His horrifying actions also led to his marriage with Belle crumbling.
He also causes more trouble in his and Belle’s lives by cheating with Talia behind the latter’s back. He got intimate with her for one night, causing a strain in his marriage with Belle. His unacceptable behavior led to their eventual split. Nonetheless, Belle did attempt to sort things out with him, but he didn’t want to.
Brady was determined to become a changed man in dealing with his inner conflicts. He decided to get into a rehab facility for his betterment. He believed that once he heals from his pain, he can then work on their marriage problems and restart a new life. As a result, he checks into a facility near his dad’s hospital.
He assures Belle that he will return one day to Salem and make things good between them. Given that his character exit was story-driven, there are still chances for his return in the future. As of yet, it remains unknown when his comeback is possible. Beemer and the showrunners are yet to give a word on it.
