Suspects who could have kidnapped Phyllis and Sharon on The Young and the Restless
Viewers suspect Patty Williams and Ian Ward could be behind Phyllis and Sharon’s abduction on The Young and the Restless.
Patty Williams is a criminal suffering from mental illness. She previously had bad blood with Phyllis over Jack Abbott. She liked Jack but then discovered his connection to Phyllis, leading to her seeking revenge.
She hurts Phyllis’s daughter, Summer, exposing her to peanuts, triggering her allergy, and sending her into a coma. During this crucial time, Jack stands with Phyllis, which doesn’t sit well with Patty.
She was later put into a psych ward but her disgust with Phyllis continued. However, Patty escapes and returns to cause more trouble. She is eventually met with a brutal fate during a building explosion following which she was presumed dead. But it’s possible that she might return to seek revenge on Phyllis. She could have abducted Sharon as well due to her involvement in her niece Heather’s demise.
Ian Ward is another possible suspect behind the kidnapping, given the duo is connected to his enemy, Victor Newman. He could have held these ladies captive and may have tried to hurt them to punish Victor for his deeds.
Most recently, he confronted Victor at the ranch but is ultimately shot and taken to hospital. Although he is pronounced dead initially, he opens his eyes later in the ambulance, adding a layer of twist to the current plot. While Newman continues to think he is dead, he might be plotting something sinister by kidnapping Phyllis and Sharon.
