Justin Bieber and former NHL star Jeremy Roenick turned heads at the Skate For LA Strong charity event at Crypto.com Arena. The hockey-themed fundraiser, organized by the Los Angeles Kings and NHL, brought together former pros, celebrities and first responders to support wildfire recovery efforts in Los Angeles.

During one of the games, Bieber and Roenick staged a playful fight on the ice, drawing laughter from the crowd. As Roenick’s jersey was pulled over his head, the two pretended to trade blows before former NHL players Derek Armstrong and Nate Thompson stepped in to separate them. The lighthearted moment even caught the attention of honorary coach Snoop Dogg, who jokingly shouted, “That’s Justin Bieber, somebody go help Justin!”

The friendly competition didn’t stop there. Former Devils defenseman PK Subban and actor Ben Hollingsworth also had a mock fight during a separate game. Meanwhile, celebrities like Steve Carell, Danny DeVito, Vince Vaughn, and Cobie Smulders took on coaching roles, making for a star-studded evening.

Bieber, a longtime hockey enthusiast, emphasized the event’s positive impact. He said, “We’re looking to have a good time and show when we come together, good things happen” (via New York Post).

Meanwhile, Roenick said, “This was an amazing celebration of hockey and first responders. It was a lot of fun, seeing everyone that showed up and some of the L.A. firefighters playing was a good feeling.”
