TV star Michael Lohan has been reportedly arrested on a domestic violence charge on February 21. As per authorities, Lindsay Lohan’s father had allegedly followed his estranged wife, Kate Major, at a medical appointment. Additionally, he engaged in a domestic assault act against Kate Major a few days before that.

Michael Lohan was arrested over assault
Reality TV star Michael Lohan was arrested in Texas after his estranged wife, Kate Major, dialed 911 from a doctor’s appointment. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) told PEOPLE that Major observed Lohan in the parking lot of the building and suspected him of following her.
After the authorities arrived, Major revealed Lohan “flipped her out of a chair at their residence a few days earlier.” The Sheriff’s Office also noted that a female officer noticed bruising on Major’s body.
The authorities arrested Lohan on the same day “without incident.” Lohan is charged with Continuous Family Violence and is being held on a $30,000 bond, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Lohan was previously arrested in 2020 for assaulting Major. Later, Lohan denied the charges. He told E! News, “I adamantly denied that ever happened.”
Major and Lohan made headlines in 2024 after a video of the former screaming at Lohan surfaced online. In the video, Major was behind the wheel, and it seemed like the TV star was standing in front of the car. Lohan’s estranged wife yelled at the TV star, saying, “Michael, get out of the road! These poor children. Oh my god, what a psychopath. He’s calling the f——- cops.”
Lohan told TMZ that he allowed Major to stay at his house while he and his children were out of town. But later, a district attorney informed her she had to leave the premises by 5:00 p.m. because he had an order of protection in place against her. Major, however, had a different account of the story. She claimed, “He’s following me, please. He jumped in front of my car. My kids are in the car. I didn’t even get out of the f—— driveway” (via Page Six).
Lohan and Major tied the knot in October 2014, at an intimate ceremony at Hillsboro Beach in Florida. Lindsay Lohan and her brother, The Parent Trap star Michael Lohan Jr., were reportedly not invited to the wedding (via TMZ).
