Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively spotted during SNL

Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively joined the SNL 50th anniversary special red carpet amid their legal tussle with Justin Baldoni, much to the surprise of their fans. Blake Lively donned a gleaming silver gown for the night, while Ryan Reynolds sported a classic black tuxedo with a matching bow tie. The two smiled and posed for the cameras while navigating their way on the carpet.

They even had a brief cameo on the show. In a Q&A SNL sketch orchestrated by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the actresses appeared to take a jab at Reynolds’ off-screen troubles when they questioned him about how he was doing. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ ordeal with Justin Baldoni dates back to December 2024, when the Gossip Girl alum launched a sexual harassment lawsuit against the latter. Additionally, Lively also accused Baldoni’s PR team of putting together a social manipulation campaign to blemish her reputation. In reply, Baldoni denied all wrongdoings and went on a counterattack by filing a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist Leslie Sloane.

The case will now be settled in court. The officials have already set a date for trial that will commence in March 2026.
