Are Terry Silver and John Kreese dead in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3?

Yes, Terry Silver and John Kreese die at the end of Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3.

In Season 6 Part 3, Terry Silver, fearing for his reputation and unwilling to leave the Iron Dragons’ victory to fate, orchestrates the kidnapping of Johnny Lawrence’s wife and newborn baby. However, Kreese, who had reconciled with Johnny and resolved their past enmity, caught wind of his plans and boarded Silver’s yacht.

Kreese and Silver then dueled, with the latter having an upper hand on the former. During this fight petrol ended up leaking on the deck. Kreese then tossed his cigar on the leaked petrol. This caused flames to erupt on the yacht, killing both of them.

Thus, Kreese sacrifices his life to ensure Johnny Lawrence’s happiness with his family. In a way, he also ends up redeeming himself for all the trouble and torment he caused Johnny in earlier seasons of the series.

Ultimately, Johnny regains his old Cobra Kai dojo as a gift from former enemy and rival Daniel LaRusso. Not only that, he and Daniel, who continue to operate the Miyagi-do dojo, form a partnership wherein they loan each other’s students and train them in Cobra Kai’s offensive martial arts and Miyagi-do’s more defensive techniques.

All six seasons of Cobra Kai are now streaming on Netflix.
