In a recent cover story with Billboard, Travis Scott expressed his desire to collaborate with Taylor Swift or Sabrina Carpenter. “This might be crazy, but I would love to get Taylor Swift or Sabrina Carpenter on a hook,” Scott said. “Because I have some ill ideas.” Additionally, he mentioned that he is interested in working with the band Khruangbin.

Scott addressed the chart performance of Days Before Rodeo when it went against Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet in 2024. “Charts, shmarts, man,” he said. “Who measures that? Her album’s cool. Days Before Rodeo is 10 years old. It all works.”

He also spoke about his upcoming music, noting that he still had “some more tweaking to do” on the album title. “I feel like for Utopia, I was striving to push things to a high level. I’m still reaching for that,” he said. “I’ve been having so much fun with music and s–t that I think it’s cool to be artistic and have fun with it. I’ve been producing more, making a lot of the album, and going in on that level is making it more exciting. I can’t wait, actually,” Scott added.

In November 2024, it was announced that Scott would be headlining Coachella 2025 alongside Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone. Gaga will perform on Friday, Green Day and Scott on Saturday, and Malone on Sunday. The two-weekend festival will take place from April 11-13 and April 18-20.
