Kanye West Sells Swastika Shirt on Yeezy Website After Nazi Rant

Kanye West is at the heart of another controversy after his official clothing brand, Yeezy, updated its website by removing all items, barring a T-shirt with the Nazi swastika at the center of it. This move comes after the 24-time Grammy winner shared a series of antisemitic posts on X (formerly Twitter).

Here’s everything fans need to know regarding the situation surrounding Kanye West’s apparel website, Yeezy.

At the time of writing, Yeezy’s official website only hosts one product, which is the aforementioned swastika T-shirt. Kanye West’s official Instagram handle also contains a link to Yeezy’s website that, upon clicking, redirects the user to a minimalistic page with the said T-shirt. The item is priced at $17 and is available for shipping across various countries, including Israel.

This modification to the Yeezy website comes one day after Kanye West praised Adolf Hitler on X (formerly Twitter). “I LOVE HITLER. I’M A NAZI,” the revolutionary artist wrote in one of his posts. He then referred to Hitler as “soooo fresh.” West posted a further antisemitic comment, “I love when Jewish people come to me and say they can’t work with me anymore it’s my fav[orite],” as per The Jerusalem Post. The rapper’s rant also included derogatory comments directed towards financially underprivileged people, the Black community, the #MeToo movement, former US Vice President Kamala Harris, and more.

Many public figures have voiced their opinion about Kanye West’s behavior, including Friends star David Schwimmer. Taking to Instagram, the veteran actor urged Elon Musk to ban the erratic singer from X (formerly Twitter), writing, “We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. Musk.”

Amid his Yeezy scandal and numerous controversial posts, Kanye West has decided to deactivate his X account himself.
