Recently, the “God’s Plan” rapper revealed in archival studio footage that the song “Too Good,” featuring Rihanna, was about Williams. He exactly quoted “I get heavy on a couple of joints, but this is more about me and Serena. It’s funny because when I make songs about women, I also make songs for them. So, I know what kind of song to make.”
He wanted to ensure that if he made music about women, it better be something that they liked.
