Here are all the details of the lawsuit against Lively and what it means for her legal feud with Baldoni.

Blake Lively gets sued for defamation

Jed Wallace, the owner of PR Firm, Street Relations, has joined the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni drama by suing the actress. Per reports, he filed a lawsuit at Texas federal court on February 4.

The official documents of Wallace’s Lawsuit state that the It Ends With Us actress mentioned the PR firm in her lawsuit against Baldoni. She accused her co-actor of creating imaginary content on social media sites that defended him. Additionally, Wallace has demanded $7 million in damages. He has also asked for a court order to clarify that he didn’t have any involvement in harassing Lively.

Wallace’s current lawsuit states, “As Lively later admitted she knew of no facts to support the allegations against Wallace or Street… Neither Wallace nor Street had anything to do with the alleged sexual harassment, retaliation, failure to investigate, or aiding and abetting the alleged harassment or alleged retaliation. Neither could they have breached a contract with Lively because no such contract exists.”

Jed Wallace’s lawsuit comes a month after Blake Lively’s petition to have him deposed in her and Baldoni’s legal battle. Her lawsuit claimed that his PR firm tried to create “a digital army” against her. Furthermore, the petition detailed that Wallace’s firm promoted content that seemingly appeared authentic and provided them to the media. Albeit, it ultimately had the potential to influence the general public statement against Lively.

Moreover, Lively’s lawsuit alleged Wallace’s effort to “seed and influence online forums,” which attacked her but defended Baldoni. Meanwhile, her lawyer, Michael Gottlieb, has also responded to Wallace’s recent lawsuit. He told The Hollywood Reporter, “Another day, another state, another nine-figure lawsuit seeking to sue Ms. Lively ‘into oblivion’ for speaking out against sexual harassment and retaliation.”

Gottlieb has also accused the current lawsuit of being more than “a publicity stunt.” He added that “it is transparent retaliation” responding to allegations containing claims of sexual harassment. Per Gottlieb, the lawsuit is a “retaliation complaint” against Blake Lively’s petition with the California Civil Rights Department.
