Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said on February 4 that his friendship with Taylor Swift has grown since she began attending games to support Travis Kelce, stating, “Taylor being at all the games has been awesome.”
He further added, “I just know Taylor better now and I feel like I’ve built a great friendship with her. And my wife and Taylor have a built a friendship as well,” referring to his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
Mahomes also highlighted the impact of Swift’s attendance at football games, particularly on young fans, including his own daughter, Sterling Skye. “It’s been awesome to showcase her bringing light to the sport that I love and getting little girls like my daughter into it and watching the game,” he stated.

Mahomes previously shared details about Swift’s interactions with his daughter, revealing in October 2024 on The Drive with Carrington Harrison, that Swift and Sterling baked together. “She’s made different treats that have been around my house—muffins and donuts and stuff like that,” he said. “Sterling’s a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes.
