Allison Holker recently shed light on how her late husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, who tragically died by suicide in December 2022, had experienced a significant change in his life after he tried Ayahuasca.

Allison Holker mentioned that Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss was never the same after he tried Ayahuasca. “I think it was a very big turning point for him,” Holker told Jamie Kern Lima in an appearance on her show.
The 36-year-old dancer then mentioned that Boss’ heart was “never really in the same place” after he tried Ayahuasca. She added that Boss continued to manage his daily life, “but there was something missing in his eyes.”
“It just kind of feels like he opened something up to himself that he never healed,” she shared. “And never fully escaped.”
Lima then touched upon some of her late husband’s habits. Boss would demand Holker to stay in bed till 7 daily as he wanted space to do what he wanted. Lima also mentioned how Boss would everyday bring Holker “the same coffee in a Superman mug.”
Holker confirmed this and expressed how she initially thought they were unusual but sweet habits and that Boss would tell people about it. However, she added, “Really why wasn’t I allowed to come downstairs? Because he would be triggered. If I came downstairs before I’d be in trouble.”
Holker further mentioned that their children were also not allowed downstairs and that “there was like an order in which things had to happen.” The former Dancing with the Stars contestant admitted that she would “always celebrate” her late husband. However, she added that she has to be “careful because I can’t celebrate so much of his choice.”
