Noah Centineo and Mark Ruffalo relationship explained

Noah Centineo is not related to Mark Ruffalo. However, both actors know the comparisons fans and other people have made between them.

Ruffalo once reacted to the comparison in a 2019 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Here, Fallon told The Avengers star that people mentioned they looked alike. “Wow, I wish I was that good-looking,” Ruffalo jokingly said after looking at Centineo’s photo, which Fallon had shown him. Fallon then assured Ruffalo he was “good-looking.”

Ruffalo then joked that The Recruit star could “play [his] dad one day.” Fallon then showed Ruffalo a clip of Centineo from a previous interview. Here, Centineo acknowledged the comparisons between him and Ruffalo after reading a tweet that suggested Centineo was a young Ruffalo. He said that not only fans but casting directors compared him to the Hulk actor. “I even think that I am Mark Ruffalo and space and time is just a weird thing that we can’t understand,” Centineo added in the interview.

Ruffalo humorously added that Centineo was “way better-looking than [he] was.” Fallon then pulled up a photo of Ruffalo’s younger self, which the actor uploaded on Instagram. The 57-year-old actor then took Noah Centineo’s picture and put it next to the image of his younger self. “Noah — Noah, you’re doing way better than me, pal,” he jokingly suggested.

Noah Centineo acknowledged the resemblance again in an interview with IHeartRadioCA, noting how people pointed out he sounded like Ruffalo. The interviewer also noted that his mannerisms were similar to Ruffalo’s. Here, Centineo admitted he “would love to” play Ruffalo in a biopic if asked to do one.
