Tulsi Gabbard and Abraham Williams’ relationship explained

Tulsi Gabbard’s relationship with her husband, Abraham Williams, dates back to 2012 when they first crossed paths on the campaign trail. At the time, Williams was a freelance photographer and a volunteer for Gabbard’s campaign. Their connection didn’t immediately take a romantic turn. Their bond grew over time, especially after a mutual friend organized a birthday party in 2013. It was at this gathering that Williams finally asked Gabbard out.

Their shared love for water sports, especially surfing, brought them closer. This mutual passion even influenced Williams’ proposal. In a unique romantic gesture while surfing, Williams presented Gabbard with a ring tied to a flotation device, asking her to marry him. Their wedding followed in 2015 when they tied the knot in a traditional Vedic ceremony on Hawaii’s Kahaluu shore.
