Viewers of The Young and the Restless are curious to know who is about to face a tragic fate in the show — Ian Ward or Victor Newman? The recent premise unfolds with Michael Baldwin ordering Ian to accompany him to the ranch at Victor’s demand. When he refuses and attempts to leave, Victor’s henchman, Mortonson, blocks his exit and threatens him with a gun. After this, an ultimate showdown occurs at the ranch, where both Ian and Victor put each other’s lives at risk. Here are all the details.
Are Victor Newman and Ian Ward dead or alive on The Young and the Restless?
The spoilers for The Young and the Restless’ upcoming episode indicate that Ian Ward might not survive.
After arriving at the Newman ranch, Victor greets Ian sarcastically, further asking him to confess to his sins. Although Ian tries his best to play along innocently, Victor gets annoyed at his behavior and threatens him with a brutal fate if he doesn’t obey what he says. After the duo engages in a heated argument, Victor eventually realizes Ian will continue to play coy and he might have to use a violent way to teach him a lesson. He signals his henchmen to pull off the gun and shoot him.
However, in an unexpected turn of events, Ian snatches the gun and points it at the Newmans. This heated altercation leads Ian and Victor to shoot at each other, eventually ending up at the hospital. They are both covered in blood and are rushed to seek immediate medical attention. The spoilers suggest that despite being shot in the chest, Victor will survive, considering the bullet only passed through him. Additionally, actor Eric Braeden, who plays Victor, has no plans of saying goodbye to the show, as of now. Therefore, it seems his story will continue on the show.
On the other hand, Ian Ward, played by Ray Wise, will most likely be pronounced dead in the upcoming episode. He was shot directly by Victor in the stomach. Like his partner in crime Jordan, it appears Ian is certain to face a tragic fate.
Additionally, Aria and Tessa, who were believed to be missing, will also make a return. It will be clarified that they weren’t abducted but rather went on a drive to feel good and their car ran out of battery and fuel, leading to them reaching home late.
