Blake Lively & Justin Baldoni’s It Ends With Us Trial Scheduled for March 2026

The ongoing legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has officially been scheduled for trial in March 2026. The case, which involves serious allegations and countersuits between the two stars, is set to take place in a New York courtroom. Lively’s lawsuit accuses Baldoni and others of harassment and retaliation. Meanwhile, Baldoni has countersued, accusing Lively and her team of defamation.

Here are all the details.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni trial date revealed

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal dispute is officially scheduled for trial on March 9, 2026, according to a court order issued by Judge Lewis J. Liman on January 27, 2025. The case involved Lively’s sexual harassment claims against Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and other individuals associated with the film It Ends With Us.

This case has drawn significant media attention. In her lawsuit, Lively alleges that she was the victim of harassment. She adds that a smear campaign was launched against her after she spoke out about misconduct. Baldoni, who served as the film’s director and her co-star, has denied the allegations. He countersued Lively, along with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, accusing them of defamation and extortion.

Along with the trial date, a pretrial conference has been moved to February 3. It was previously scheduled for February 12. This change comes as both parties argue over public statements and media coverage of the case. Lively’s legal team has raised concerns that Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, is attempting to influence public opinion and taint the jury pool by releasing selective documents related to the case. In turn, Freedman has dismissed Lively’s claims, asserting that his client is simply defending himself with the truth.

Baldoni’s team has issued a statement on January 27, 2025. The statement read, “If they want to unethically gag the truth by threatening to wield their power in Hollywood, we will fight it every step of the way. Defending ourselves is not retaliation, it is a human right.” (via The Hollywood Reporter)
