The Bachelor Season 29 has finally premiered, treating audiences to the American TV personality, Grant Ellis, as he attempts to find his one true love and soulmate. Accordingly, fans have become curious about the eliminations and who went home on the latest The Bachelor installment’s premiere. Ellis first made his mark in The Bachelorette Season 21, where he was one of the competitors for Jenn Tran’s affections until he got booted out in the sixth week.

  • Christina Smith – A marketing director based out of Fargo, North Dakota
  • J’Nae Squires Horton – An account coordinator from Colorado Springs, Colorado
  • Kelsey Curtis – Interior designer hailing from Clarksville, Maryland
  • Kyleigh Henrich – A retail manager hailing from Glen Rose, Texas
  • Neicey Baxter – A Blythewood, South Carolina-based pediatrician
  • Radhika Gupta – An attorney from New York
  • Savannah Quinn – A wedding planner from Charlottesville, Virginia.

Meanwhile, Alexe Godin, a 27-year-old pediatric speech therapist from New Brunswick, Canada got the first impression rose. This is because out of all the contestants, Grant Ellis found her the most interesting. He even told the cameras that she was funny, smart, sweet, and quirky.

He further elaborated on his decision to choose Godin in a Decider interview, pointing out that they had “a lot of really good conversation” and shared a lot of laughs, which had drawn him to her. Moreover, in the interview, Grant also admitted that he was an animal lover. He shares this aspect with Godin, as she is also one according to her ABC bio.

Additionally, 18 contestants got roses at the rose ceremony. These include Litia, Rose, Ella, Zoe, Alli Jo, Juliana, Vicky, Natalie, Beverly, Bailey, Carolina, Dina, Chloie, Rebekah, Sarafiena, Allyshia, and Parisa.
