Taylor Swift and country heartthrob Morgan Wallen have emerged as the most nominated artists of the 2025 iHeartRadio Awards. Both artists have received over ten nods from different categories. Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter, and Post Malone follow closely behind, each bagging nine nods.
Taylor Swift receives 10 nominations for 2025 iHeart Radio Awards
Taylor Swift is making new history with iHeartRadio Awards 2025 nominations. The “Fortnight” crooner has earned ten nods in total. Additionally, she will be also getting a significant honor. Per the official press release, Taylor Swift’s globally popular Eras Tour will be acknowledged as the “Tour of the Century.”
“If I Know Me” singer Morgan Wallen is also leading the nominations board with over ten nods in total. Wallen’s nominations include Artist Of the Year, Country Song of the Year (“Cowgirls)”, Best Collaboration (“I Had Some Help”) and Country Artist of the Year.
Meanwhile, Swift has also received nods in multiple categories, including Pop Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration (“Fortnight” featuring Post Malone) and Favorite Surprise Guest.
The Grammy winning artist’s tour traditions have found entries in a newly introduced category: Favorite Tour Tradition. In the socially voted category, swifties can choose one of two traditions from Eras Tour they enjoyed the most. Swift’s surprise songs and her giving away the “22” hat to someone in the audience have found mentions in the new category.
Apart from Swift, iHeartRadio Awards will also have special tributes for two legendary artists, Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey. The 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award will go to the “Poker Face” singer.
The award show recognized the impact Gaga has had on pop music over the years. The official press release mentioned, “Few artists in modern history have taken creative risks with the level of success of Gaga. One of the best-selling musicians of all time, she is the true definition of a modern day artist innovator.”
Mariah Carey will also receive another special award. The press release shed light on Carey’s influence on modern music. She will get the 2025 iHeartRadio Icon Award on March 17.
Fans can watch the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, March 17 on FOX from 8-10 p.m. ET live. All iHeartRadio stations will also air the show across the country and on the free iHeartRadio app.
