Matthew Atkinson joined the cast of the series in March 2019. Fans enjoyed his portrayal of Thomas, the charming character from Forrester Creations who also has a complex side to his story, particularly regarding his dynamics with family members. Thomas is the son of Taylor Hayes and Ridge Forrester, the brother of Steffy and the late Phoebe, as well as a half-sibling to R.J. Forrester. Throughout the show, his character faced numerous struggles in both his professional and personal life, which successfully kept viewers engaged.
However, Atkinson has officially exited the series after several years. Fans may have anticipated his departure when his character, Thomas, was sent to France, leading to his storyline being concluded. Further, his name was also removed from the opening credits of the show. The reason behind the exit is not clear yet and fans surely miss Atkinson’s warm presence on the show.
