Ryan Day is married to Nina.

Nina was raised in Manchester in New Hampshire and belongs to a family of four. This includes her parents Stan Spriou and Patricia, her brother Chuck, and twin sister, Kelly. Her father served as a head coach for the men’s basketball team at Southern New Hampshire University for 33 seasons. She pursued her education at the University of New Hampshire and has been supportive of her husband’s football coaching career. She is known as the “First lady of Ohio State Football.”

Nina is also a mental health advocate and she and Day established the The Nina and Ryan Day Resilience Fund to support mental health research (via People).

The couple are proud parents to three children, which includes a son Ryan Jr. and two daughters, Grace and Ourania. Ryan Jr aka RJ is a high school student in Columbus and also became a football quarterback like his father.

The duo knew each other since childhood and used to play T-ball together. Ryan and Nina Day went to the same school and also the college. However, they reportedly had an on-and-off relationship at the time. Soon, the two reconnected after college and tied the knot in June 2005.

In August 2024, Nina opened up on their love story and successful marriage with WBNS 10TV, stating, “There was a comfort level with him. We’re still best friends. I think that’s the best way a marriage can be.”
