Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell have decided to split up after being together for four years.

The news about their split broke out when James took to Instagram, wherein he shared a lovely picture of the couple holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes along with a caption. “Father God, give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts,” he wrote.

“Give us a peace about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding. Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our Joy comes from you, Lord,” the caption further reads.

The couple were part of The Bachelor Season 25, which aired on ABC in January 2021. Their paths initially crossed on sets of the series, leading them to strike a connection.

In the show, Kirkconnell emerged victorious. By the end, James also decided to continue his relationship with his then-beau. After the season ended, the two split temporarily.
