The second season showcases numerous problems for Camila as she tries to get a grip on her life. She decides to marry David but is unable to move on from Miguel. Miguel keeps stalking Camila till they get back together. Camila gives in to his efforts and reunites with him after ending things with David. Understanding her feelings, David decides to let her go, allowing her to be with the person she truly loves.
Further, she goes into therapy which begins another problem for her. Her therapist, Dr. Joaquin Duval falls in love with her which turns into a dangerous obsession. He ends up kidnapping her and takes her to a yacht. He confesses being Angela’s partner in crime and how he murdered Adrian to protect his plans. Soon, Miguel sneaks into the yacht to save the love of his life from a ruthless villain.
Miguel and Duval get into a fight which ends in the latter getting shot. It is none other than Detective Indira who shot him and also arrested him previously after finding out about his secret recording of his meetings with Camila. Later, Camila and Miguel make their way to safety after sharing a passionate hug.
Thus, Camila’s troubles finally come to an end as she looks forward to a fresh start with Miguel.
