If they guess a letter correctly and put it in its position in the letter, it will appear in green. On the other hand, if that letter is placed in an incorrect position, the color will be yellow. Lastly, the letter will appear in gray if it’s not part of the word.

The answer for Wordle #1300 for today, January 10, is CRAWL.

As a verb, crawl means to move using one’s hands and knees. Alternatively, it can mean maneuvering slowly without using any of the limbs. The word can also be used in metaphorical contexts, denoting progression (in life) through guile and obsequiousness. As a noun, it simply means the act of crawling.

The etymology of crawl can be traced back to Middle English crawlen, Old Norse krafla, and Proto-Germanic *krablōną.
