Here’s what’s happening with Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5 is delayed.

As fans are aware, the series was renewed for a fifth season in April 2024 ahead of the conclusion of Season 4. It was also revealed that Season 5 will now be moved to Peacock. While fans were eagerly looking forward to Elliot’s new journey, things took an awkward turn for the series.

In November 2024, Deadline reported that the production of the series had been paused. It was due to the exit of showrunner John Shiban and as a result, the series’s original showrunner Matt Olmstead being brought on board again. However, Olmstead was making a comeback as an executive producer instead of the showrunner. Thus, the spin-off resumed filming again with Olmstead helping with the remaining scripts. The website also mentioned that most of the Season 5 scripts were done with production of the 10-episode part being halfway.

Following this there has been no update on Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5. Additionally, actress Danielle Moné Truitt who plays the role of Sergeant Ayanna Bell was bombarded with fan questions demanding the release date of the new episodes. As such, she took to her X to address the curiosity by stating, ”I just wanted to say that I do not know when we are premiering!!!!! You all find out this kind of information before I do. So if you haven’t heard, that means I have not heard. So when you hear, please let me know.”

Fans are eagerly awaiting for the fifth season of Law & Order: Organized Crime. In the meantime, they can watch previous seasons on Peacock.
