Harper is also a businesswoman/entrepreneur along with her husband. They launched Dreaming Tree Wines, with one of their top products being Dreaming Tree Rosé. Matthews revealed in a 2019 interview with People, that Harper had come up with the idea for the Rosé, calling it “remarkably good.”

Jennifer Ashley Harper and Dave Matthews first met each other at a Halloween Party sometime in the early 90s, shortly after the latter started his band. Matthews mentioned in an interview with Rolling Stone that he immediately fell in love with Harper after meeting her. He added that his wife believed he was “cute” when she first saw him.
Matthews and Harper then tied the knot in 2000.
One year later in 2001, they welcomed their twin daughters Stella Busina and Grace Anne. Then six years later in 2007, the couple was blessed with their son August Oliver.
