Missing You: Who Was Clint Donovan’s Killer?

Adapted from Harlan Coben’s novel of the same name, Missing You is a thrilling series that has captivated fans. Fans are eager to know who killed the main lead, Kat’s father, Clint Donovan in the show. As a detective, Kat becomes deeply involved in solving the mystery surrounding her father’s murder. Her investigation intensifies when she unexpectedly finds her missing fiancé on a dating application. This discovery leads her to dig deeper into his disappearance, revealing potential connections to her father’s case. So, who is ultimately revealed as the culprit in Clint Donovan’s murder in Netflix’s Missing You?

Here are the details.

Who really killed Kat’s dad, Clint Donavan in Missing You?

Kat’s fiancé, Josh (Ashley Walters) was the real killer of Clint Donovan in Missing You.

The series unveils that Stagger does his best to plant the seeds to deem Monte Leburne, the murderer of Kat’s father. He did it to save Josh from being put behind the bars. The staged evidence comes to fruition upon Monte’s confession. He admits to killing Clint with a weapon, found at his home. While he is put into prison, the real culprit roams freely.

However, it is later known that Josh had no intentional plans of murdering Clint and it all happened accidentally. He was just trying to safeguard Aqua from Clint’s attack. Amid the scuffle, he mistakenly stabs Clint, leading to his demise. Aqua and Clint’s argument was all about the former asking the latter to reveal it to his family about his sexual orientation and not keep them in the dark. This angered Clint and he lashed out at her.

His last moments were witnessed by one of his police colleagues, Stagger. He entered the crime scene and Clint asked him to fulfill his last wish. He requested he not let his family know about this accident and not involve the police in his case. Accepting his last wish, he frames Monte Leburne, who was a culprit of the previous two murders, to be charged for Clint’s murder as well.
