Here are the details.
Is Player 095 aka Kim Young-mi dead or alive in Squid Game Season 2?
Kim Young-Mi aka Player 095 dies in Squid Game Season 2.
Player 095 was first introduced in Season 2 Episode 4 titled “Six Legs” which featured the players competing in six-legged pentathlon. Similar to others, she competes in the game just to take off her financial burden and live a fulfilling life. She displays a sweet and sympathetic personality, however, for such a ruthless game such nature can be hazardous, as morality is tested at all times. When she enters the game, she is required to compete in the Red Light, Green Light game.
She survives her challenges and later forms a friendship with Hyun-Jun, an ex-marine who is transgender. However, their friendship faces a great deal of judgment and mockery from others. The pentathlon also helps her build strong friendships with her teammates, such as Yong-sik and Geum-ja. Through teamwork, she manages to overcome her difficulties and emerge victorious.
Things take a deadly turn for her during the Mingle challenge. In this game, the players must hide inside rooms before time runs out. Anyone found outside when the clock stops will be eliminated, which means they will be killed. As the clock ticks down, chaos ensues as players scramble to find a room to lock themselves in and safeguard their lives.
However, Young Mi bumps into another player, separating from Hyung-Ju’s team. Before Hyung-Ju realizes she is left behind, her life is ended tragically. She is shot dead by the guards.
