Reports confirmed that Hudson Meek, aged 16, passed away over the weekend following a devastating accident.

On December 23, AL reported that he fell from a moving vehicle on Thursday, December 19, at 10:47 PM. The tragic incident happened in the 1900 block of Canyon Road. He was rushed to UAB Hospital for treatment. However, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office reveals that after falling he had suffered “blunt force injuries.”

Despite efforts to save him, Meek was pronounced dead two days after the incident. The authorities are investigating to dig deeper into his death. In addition, Meek’s family members have informed everyone about his passing by sharing a lengthy statement on Instagram. “Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight. His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met,” it read.

Moreover, it also revealed that a celebration of Hudson’s life will be conducted on December 28. Details about contributing to a scholarship at Vestavia Hills High School in Meek’s memory will also be disclosed.

Meek was a sophomore attending Vestavia Hills High School while also juggling his acting career. He began his career with humble beginnings, initially starring in the television movie, called The Santa Con, per IMDb. However, he received a breakthrough in his performance in Baby Driver. Since then, he has appeared in several movies and television series, including Badanamu Stories and The School Duel. He has also made guest appearances in Genius, Found, and Legacies as well.
