Rumors have been circulating that Nigerian singer-songwriter-producer Burna Boy and the multi-talented Chloe Bailey are dating, and people want to know whether it is true. Speculations started after the two were recently spotted together in Lagos, a major city in Burna Boy’s home country.
So, let’s delve into the speculations surrounding the rumored pair as well as the truth behind them.
Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey’s dating rumors explained
It’s unclear whether Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey are in a relationship, as neither individual has officially confirmed it.
These dating rumors began floating online after several videos of the duo spending time together surfaced on Sunday, December 15. In one of the videos, Burna Boy was spotted picking Bailey up from the airport in Lagos with his convoy. She had a massive bouquet in her hands, presumably given by the “African Giant” singer.
Moreover, Bailey was seen saying “Thank you” when someone welcomed her in Lagos in English. The pair then reportedly headed toward a nightclub. In another video, Burna Boy and Bailey can be seen partying together. Videos of them dancing can also be found online, along with one where they are even spotted holding hands.
Previously, Burna Boy, whose legal name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, was in a relationship with English rapper Steflon Don. Meanwhile, there were rumors at one point that Chloe, the oldest of the Bailey sisters, was dating rapper and Migos Member Quavo, but the former dismissed them. “I don’t know where that came from,” she told Latto’s 777 Radio in March 2023. “He’s a really nice guy.”
Reflecting on her single status, Chloe Bailey told Cosmopolitan a month later, “Your girl has just been working on herself, and I wish I was lying. I tell myself, ‘God, I know what you’re doing. You’re sifting out the BS, so I can find good lovin’.”
The “Have Mercy” singer continued, “When you don’t know your worth and when you haven’t mastered the art of loving yourself, you question why others would love you.” She explained that she was focused on understanding that “concept a little more.”
