Taylor Swift surprises kids at Children’s Mercy Hospital
The beloved pop sensation made an unannounced visit to the Children’s Mercy Hospital on December 12. She spent some quality time with the kids there and their families.
According to KCTV 5, Taylor Swift met with kids who were on the oncology and hematology floor and did numerous activities with them. She sang for them, shared goodies, and had heartfelt conversations with the kids and their families.
A clip of Swift from the hospital was shared by Pop Base on X (formerly Twitter). In it, she was seen leaving the premises after meeting all the kids. She can also be heard saying, “I’ll probably be back to bother you,” to the people surrounding her. In another photo shared by X user Taylor Swift Updates, the singer can be seen having a hard laugh as she was handed a towel that read “GO TAYLORS BOYFRIEND.”
Additionally, what made the visit even more memorable was that December 12 was the eve of Taylor Swift’s birthday. She is turning 35-years-old on December 13. One of the guardians of a kid with whom Swift met at the hospital, shared photos of her on Facebook. They wrote in the caption, “Thank you Taylor Swift for bringing some joy to Rylie today!! One of the nurses said Travis Kelce was in the building as well, but didn’t stop in his room. Great way to bring a smile and make a memory!”
