All The Voice Season 26 exits explained
Here are all the contestants who left The Voice in Season 26.
Why Mor Ilderton left The Voice
Mor Ilderton is the most recent contestant of The Voice Season 26 to depart the reality series. He exited before he had a chance to face off against fellow contestants Sydney Sterlace and Jan Dan in the Knockout rounds. Sydney and Jan eventually made it to the Playoff rounds. Gwen Stefani, one of the judges, and Ilderton’s coach confirmed his exit to Mega Mentor Sting, saying that Ilderton “had to go home.” (via Entertainment Weekly)
Ilderton did not confirm why he left. However, 6 days ago on November 14, he took to Instagram to reveal that he was releasing a new single called “Stranger.”
Ilderton performed an eerie rendition of Dylan Gossett’s “Coal” for the Blind auditions. This led to him getting a four-chair turn from Stefani, Reba McEntire, Michael Buble, and Snoop Dogg. Ilderton initially entered Buble’s team but after losing in the battle round against Kiara Vega, was picked by Stefani to be a part of her team.
Why Tanner Frick left The Voice
Prior to Mor Ilderton, Tanner Frick had departed The Voice Season 26. Frick had left ahead of the Knockouts and after rehearsals, with host Carson Daly confirming his exit to Frick’s coach Michael Buble on November 11’s episode. Frick had initially joined McEntire’s team, after she successfully won him over in a fight to pick him, against fellow judges Stefani, Buble, and Snoop Dogg.
However, he left McEntire’s team after performing a rendition of “Need a Favor” against Tate Renner, and after McEntire picked Renner to continue on her team. Buble then secured Frick on his team and saved him from elimination.
Frick never confirmed why he exited. However, he had posted a TikTok video the day of his exit, captioned “Ain’t nobody want me anyway.”
