In the latest episode, Isiah emerges from the operating theatre, revealing that the surgery was successful. However, he reveals that they are still waiting to see if the transplant worked well on Lulu. On the other hand, Sam gains consciousness, while Dante sits beside her. She takes out the ring to propose to her, and she says “yes.” However, Sam’s story takes a tragic turn.
However, she didn’t survive, bringing a massive shock to her whole family and Dante. Portia, Liz, and Lucas try their best to revive her but she doesn’t gain consciousness. Alexis is heartbroken upon seeing her daughter die in front of her eyes. Dante and Rocco also couldn’t hold back their sadness.
Monaco’s Sam departure has certainly left fans upset. Introduced in 2003, she has been a part of the hit soap opera for over two decades. Recently, Dominic Zamprogna, who plays Dante, Sam’s fiancé, addressed her sad departure in an interview with ABC News.
“We’re family. I’m going to miss her. We’ve grown close, we’ve been through a lot. The reality of the business is nothing lasts forever. That’s just the way it is,” the actor said.
