Lester, portrayed by Teddy Coluca, dies in the finale of Only Murders in the Building Season 4.
The final moments showcase the next day of their reception, with Lorretta bidding adieu to Oliver as she relocates to New Zealand for her show. Meanwhile, Charles and Mabel are busy giving final edits to their latest podcast.
They are now assured about having cracked an intense murder involving Charles’ stunt double, Sazz. However, their peace is disrupted when they find another dead body in front of them. The body is of Lester, the doorman at the Arconia. It remains a big mystery for the trio to solve in the next season as to who murdered this innocent guy.
Another possible storyline that Season 5 could explore is of Nicky Caccimelio. When the wedding ends, Mabel and Charles head upstairs, eventually bumping into a strange woman. The woman, played by Téa Leoni, asks the duo for their help. She reveals she came to Arconia with a motive to recruit the famous podcasters to solve a mystery concerning her husband Caccimelio’s disappearance.
However, Mabel and Charles refuse to take her case up as they have a strict rule to crack murders inside Arconia. Despite the lady explaining his husband’s connection to the building, the duo seemingly rejects her. Later, the lady is revealed to be Sofia Caccimelio. As her husband’s case is left uncertain with the duo turning her down, there is a high chance of her inclusion next season.
