Here’s Why Fans Think Jill Abbott Will Leave the Young and the Restless Again

The Young and the Restless appeared to set up the return of Jess Walton’s Jill Abbott in its latest episodes. However, spoilers for the series also suggested that some significant change would befall Jill Abbott in Genoa City, making fans wonder whether she would leave The Young and the Restless again. This curiosity is also because Walton previously took a six-month hiatus from the show, leading to reduced Abbott appearances.

So, could Jill Abbott leave The Young and the Restless again? Here is our answer.

Is Jill Abbott leaving The Young and the Restless again?

It’s unconfirmed if Jill Abbott will leave The Young and the Restless again.

However, there is a possibility that the character could leave again, but rather permanently, as fans have been speculating that the series’ makers were planning a storyline that would write the character out of the show.

Jill Abbott has been struggling with heart complications quite recently, which included issues like breathing difficulties and lightheadedness. This prompted her to leave her leadership position at Abbott-Chancellor and hand it over to her son, Billy.

Unfortunately, as seen in the new episodes, Billy has made many horrible decisions while running the company. This included firing Lily Winters and Chance Chancellor and making his ex-girlfriend Phyllis, his right hand. When Jill learned of what Billy did, she called and criticized him. She even stressed returning to town and reclaiming control from Billy if he was unable to fulfill her demands of rehiring Lily and making amends with Chance and the company.

Unfortunately, due to her health complications, Abbott’s return to town could worsen her health as she would need to deal with all the stress caused by Billy’s actions. This would include a vindictive Lily, whose anger at Billy for getting fired became so strong that she allied with Victor Newman to get revenge. Once the stress and tension get to her, she could get a major heart attack that lands her in the hospital and perhaps take her out for good.
