Britney Spears is Free. Still Crazy.

Britney Spears was released from the UCLA Medical Center yesterday after doctors determined they were no longer able to legally hold her against her will. In a statement released to CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Britney’s parents said:

As parents of an adult child in the throws of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter’s safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted.”

Shortly after her release, Britney was involved in a car chase, then she met up with Adnan Ghalib at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where the pair then immediately drove to the offices of Adam Streisand, Britney’s lawyer. Britney clearly wants to be freed from her parents and resume life as normal, but Jamie Spears is believed to be in court tomorrow to ensure that doesn’t happen. On his agenda? To ask for more conservator power, including police enforcement for any of his potential orders. On my agenda? Setting my time machine to 1989 so I can travel to Kentwood, armed with nothing but a high-powered rifle and a very clear message.

Still British. Still a bitch:
