Well, that’s quite the career change.

Laura Birbeck decided that she was tired of hearing people complain about bags of peanuts, tired of having to fetch pillows and blankets for passengers and probably tired of telling people to put their trays in the upright position. So what did the British Airways flight attendant do? She quit her job. Oh, and she became a webcam porn star.

According to Daily Mail, the 27-year-old now performs under the name Laura Laine for Studio 66 TV, which is pretty much a webcam show where people can tune into watch gals get nude. And this coming after Birbeck spent two years as a flight attendant. But eventually, Birbeck discovered that life as a flight attendant was tiring, so off to the webcam world she went.

Here’s what a former colleague of Birbeck recently told Daily Mail:

“I’m not surprised that she’s gone into this line of work because it’s what she’s always been interested in doing. We were working together last year and she told me that she took a web camera and laptop with her on every flight.

When she got to her hotel room after work she’d connect the camera up to the laptop and start to perform. She’d do it whenever she had some free time wherever she was in the world. But good luck to her, being an air stewardess isn’t for everyone and it can be quite exhausting work.

If she has found something that she likes doing and she can make it work for her than fair play I say.”

Birbeck hasn’t commented on her drastic career change, but she did recently tweet this:

So it certainly sounds like Birbeck believes she made the right move, and we feel she did as well:

As for her former employer, British Airways has confirmed that Birbeck does not work with them anymore, but they have not confirmed if Birbeck was ever employed by them.

Well, they might as well attempt to rehire her. I’m sure their business will skyrocket.
