Way back in 2016, little known tattoo artist Nikki Simpson joined season 8 of Ink Masters and ended up finishing in fifth place, with Ryan Ashley taking home top prize. But in less than two years Simpson has only continued to get more popular, and her tattoo book just continues to grow.
The 26-year-old currently works out of the Grit N Glory tattoo shop in New York City. And when she isn’t tatting up folks in the shop, she, Ashley and Ink Masters season 8 third-place finisher Kelly Doty are hosting Paramount Network’s Ink Masters: Angels, where the trio travel the country looking for the best tattoo artists to battle against.
Simpson is also a big deal on social media, with over 150k followers on Instagram and over 34k likes on her Facebook page. And let’s not forget Simpson also has over 20k followers on Twitter.
Simpson is also one of the most respected tattoo artist out there at the moment.
