Folks, we haven’t mentioned Selena Gomez in 2018. That’s right, we are four months into this year and not a single mention of Gomez. And because of that we just had to take a moment to write up something on the 25-year-old, and let’s all thank our lucky stars that she teamed up with Puma to show off some of her new kicks.
The singer and actress is releasing her first design collaboration with Puma, a shoe that will be called Phenom Lux, which also doubles as a name for a superhero who shows up in an Avengers movie for a few minutes and then never again.
According to FootWearNews, the Phenom Lux, “gives an elevated and luxury lift to Puma’s newest silhouette. Featuring a simple white leather upper with gold details and a cut-out design, the trainer infuses Gomez’s personal touches, including a gold removable anklet chain.”
I don’t know what any of that means, but I know Gomez looks great in those photos. I also know that if you purchase her new kicks you will be helping out someone in need because every purchase of the Phenom Lux will benefit the Lupus Research Alliance. And if you recall, Gomez recently went through a kidney transplant, so it’s clear this charity is a big deal to her.

“It’s been really fun to work so closely with Puma on the design of this shoe. I’m also proud to partner with them in helping to affect lives and bring attention to a cause that is very important to me personally.”
