Gemma Chan Is The Evil (And Gorgeous) Minn-Erva In ‘Captain Marvel’

For those who have zero idea about superhero films, or don’t really follow them, chances are you haven’t heard of the new Captain Marvel movie coming out next year. With the massive success of Wonder Woman and the record-breaking numbers that Black Panther is currently doing, Captain Marvel may just be another unknown hero that becomes a box office hit. And it doesn’t hurt that Brie Larson will be the lead. But if that doesn’t reel you in enough, you should know that Larson will be fighting Gemma Chan, who has been cast as Doctor Minnerva (a.k.a Minn-Erva).

Minn-Erva is an alien geneticist who is all about using science to create a superior Kree alien race. So in other words…

The 35-year-old Chan, born in London, is best known for her role in Humans, as well as playing Madam Ya Zhou in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Something tells us everyone will be talking more about her when Captain Marvel is released on March 8, 2019.
