Every year Brazil hosts their glorious Miss Bumbum contest, an event that features 27 women with great butts all vying for the top prize of Miss Bumbum — the best butt in Brazil. And while Ericka Canela won it last year, this year the trophy was given to 28-year-old Rosie Oliveira.
Oliveira was able to wow the 12 judges in San Paulo earlier this week and win the incredible “honor.” But the competition wasn’t without drama as various things happened: Six of the 27 women were docked 40,000 votes after an investigation concluded that they used computer software to amass extra points in the public polling stage. Oliveira was also grabbed from behind by an idiot, which led Oliveira to slap him across the face.
“This is exactly what I want to fight against,” Oliveira said afterwards. “Just because I’m Miss Bumbum doesn’t mean they can disrespect me. I want to show women you can still have a big beautiful bottom and not be treated like an object.”
