The US, Europe, Australia and Japan release dates for Super Smash Bros. Wii U have been announced.
The latest game in the fighting franchise will launch on November 21st in North America, in Europe on December 5th and Australia/Japan on December 6th.
It will be sold for the suggested retail price of $59.99, launching alongside the first wave of twelve Amiibo figures.

Typically games launch only a few days later in Europe than they do in the US, so this news will annoy some non-America Wii U owners who were looking to get their hands on the latest Super Smash Bros. as soon as possible. However, the game looks like it will be worth the wait, even if a global launch would have been preferred.
Super Smash Bros. 3DS has proven to be hugely popular on the handheld console, with 2.8 million units sold thus far. Nintendo will be hoping that the console version of the game will lift the spirits of the Wii U, which is finding it notoriously difficult to carve out its place in the current console market.
