FIFA 15‘s player rankings have been announced, revealing who EA believes to be the cream of the crop in the football world.
The player rankings in FIFA games are traditionally derived from a comprehensive look at each players’ attributes, strengths and weaknesses, with EA Sports working harder with each new game in the series to make the rankings closer to reality.
This year is no exception, though there will likely be some debate over Messi’s positioning at the top of the rankings, pipping Cristiano Ronaldo once again.

Unfortunately for the Premier League, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is the only player from an English club to make the top 10, though he is closely preceded by Arsenal’s Robin van Persie and Manchester United’s new loan signing Radamel Falcao. The rest of the top 10 is almost entirely composed of German and Spanish league teams,
While there will be those who believe that this year Ronaldo should have been at the number one spot considering his 2013 FIFA Ballon d’Or win, Messi continues to be the poster boy and cover star of the series, so it’s no real surprise that he is again rated so highly, even if he wasn’t as impressive last season.
FIFA 15 is set to release in Europe on September 25th, the UK on September 26th and the US on September 23rd.
