EA recently announced its brand new subscription game streaming service, EA Access, exclusively for the Xbox One and as opposed to other popular streaming services, Australians will have legal access to it.
The service will be available to gamers with an Xbox Live account. By paying a monthly fee, they will have unlimited access to some of EA’s more popular titles, discounts on digital content, and access to trials of new titles before their release.
At the service’s launch, according to EA, the four available titles will be Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25 and Peggle 2. More titles will come soon as the service is currently in the beta stage.
For gamers in the US, EA Access will cost US$4.99 per month and US$29.99 per year while Australian users will be charged a slightly higher price of $6.99 per month and $39.99 per year.
The service does not currently have an official launch date but according to EA it is “coming soon”.
