Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will be coming to both the PS4 and Xbox One, along with the PS3 and Xbox 360, later this year.
The Ultimate Evil Edition will contain both Diablo 3 and its excellent expansion Reaper of Souls, and will retail for $59.99 on the PS4/Xbox One and $39.99 on the PS3/Xbox 360.
Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will add Apprentice mode to the game, which will allow low-level players to receive a rank boost so that they can successfully play co-op alongside their friends. It will also employ a system that will allow players to share loot with people on their friends lists.
Developer Blizzard also revealed that the in-game item Infernal Pauldrons will be available as both a preorder and launch-day bonus, which gives bonuses when worn to health, life regeneration and cooldown reduction.
Those who own the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Diablo 3 will be able to transfer their characters to the Ultimate Evil Edition.
Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will be released on August 19th and, if you’ve read our Reaper of Souls review, you’ll understand why we’re bursting with excitement.
