The upcoming Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster will allow players to take control of the series’ long-time antagonist Albert Wesker, Capcom has revealed.
The developer unveiled ‘Wesker Mode’ in a brand new trailer for the game, and suffice to say it looks suitably ridiculous. Accompanied by Rebecca Chambers, Wesker’s superhuman abilities can be put to the test by the player, with him able to dash forward at high speeds and also dispatch of enemy zombies using an array of super powers.

Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster will be released on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and the PC in early 2016, and is one of two upcoming Resi HD remasters, what with Resident Evil 2 also receiving its long-awaited remake in the near future.
Capcom also released a developer diary for Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster, highlighting the graphical overhaul the game has received.
