Last summer, FX debuted The Strain, based on the novels by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan.
The story began with an airplane that landed in New York with only a handful of survivors and everyone else dead. But this was no act of terror. It was the first shot in a new war between humans and vampires. Unfortunately, the vampires are winning.
The Strain Season 2 is just around the corner, and FX has released a new behind-the-scenes video that features series stars Corey Stoll, Natalie Brown, Mía Maestro, Kevin Durand, and Ruta Gedmintas share teasers for the upcoming season alongside executive producer Carlton Cuse.
Foremost among the revelations are the way that Ephraim Goodweather (Stoll) and his team intend to fight back… and how the new vampire regime will gain power.
FX will premiere the second season of The Strain on Sunday, July 12.
