Finishing with 34 points, NBA MVP Stephen Curry led his Golden State Warriors on a rally from nearly twenty points behind in the second quarter, staying on top from the half and sealing the game 1 Western Conference Finals win against the Houston Rockets 110-106.
Curry helped put the nail in the coffin right at the end by sinking two free throws, putting the Warriors up by four, just out of reach of the Rockets who had too little time to work with, despite being kept mostly in the game by MVP runner-up James Harden’s 28 points. Game 2 is Thursday night in Oakland, CA. Thanks to NESN for this NBA post-season update.
