You look like you need a holiday (and we mean that in the nicest possible way).
Good thing, too – TripAdvisor have just released their Travellers Choice list of top 25 worldwide destinations for 2015, so you can start thinking about what part of the world you’ll explore next.
Even better news you don’t even need a passport to take advantage – in fact, you don’t need more than a weekend! Sydney has made made the cut at No. 25, with TripAdvisor recommending a wander around The Rocks and Circular Quay, before checking out the Museum of Contemparary Art and then taking in the view from Sydney Tower.
Topping out the international list is Marrakech, Morocco, which TripAdvisor describes as a “magical place, brimming with markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques”.
If Asia is more your scene, Siem Reap in Cambodia, home to the ancient ruins of Angkor Wat, comes in at Number 2.
Turkey features highly, with two cities making the top 25 – Istanbul at No 3, and Goreme at No. 14.
The world’s big cities also make the list, with London, Paris and New York coming in at 6, 9 and 11 respectively.
It isn’t all 24-hour flights away though, with Queenstown in New Zealand coming in at No. 22 thanks to its huge array of outdoor activities, while the spas and massages of Ubud in Bali helped it to No. 15.
If you’re looking for something a bit closer to home again, TripAdvisor have also announced their top ten destinations in Australia. Sydney and Melbourne take the top two spot, but the real standout is Queensland, with four out of the ten – Brisbane, Cairns, Prot Douglas and Noosa.
Time to book those flights.
