Now that he’s finished terrorizing Jennifer Lopez as the title character of The Boy Next Door, Ryan Guzman is moving back to TV.
Deadline is reporting that Guzman is the latest addition to the cast of Heroes Reborn, the 13 episode event series that revisits the world of Heroes several years after the events of the fourth season. The report notes that Gatlin Green has also signed on to join the Heroes Reborn cast.
Guzman previously had a recurring role on Pretty Little Liars and he will appear in the upcoming film adaptation of Jem and the Holograms. Green starred in Finding Cody and guest starred on Criminal Minds.

Of the original Heroes cast, only Jack Coleman is slated to return as Noah Bennet. Everyone else is a new addition to the Heroes mythos. Details about Guzman and Green’s characters were not revealed, but Deadline used a casting breakdown to speculate that “Guzman may be playing a handsome former military guy while Green could be playing a sweet, popular girl.”
Former Chuck star Zachary Levi will also headline Heroes Reborn opposite the recently cast Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh and Henry Zebrowsi. NBC will announce a premiere date for Heroes Reborn later this year.
